"It was a pleasure meeting with you at the International Dam Safety Conference in Bhubaneswar.
Please find attached my presentation slides and my paper. It was a very well managed conference with a lot of interesting content.
I am looking forward to discuss further how we can further develop good Emergency Action Plans."

"Attached please find my congratulatory letter concerning the very successful International Dam Safety Conference in Bhubaneswar. A formal printed copy has been sent by mail together with copies of my books Risk and Uncertainty in Dam Safety (2004) and Operational Safety of Dams and Reservoirs (2016). I apologise for not being in a position to send this letter before now; I have been away from the office since my visit to India.
I look forward to returning to India next year for the ICOLD Meeting and the 2020 International Dam Safety Conference.
With best regards."

"I first want to thank you and CWC for inviting me to IDSC 2019 and giving me the opportunity of getting exposed to the current challenges in dam safety in India. Also many thanks for accommodation and other logistics arrangements, as well as for the social program; this was superb.
Through the presentations and exchanges during the conference as well as by attending the 39th meeting of the National Committee on Dam Safety (thank you for arranging that I may attend!), I could appreciate how much work and effort is being put into enhancing dam safety in India. The fact that the financing of the next phase of DRIP is secured is certainly a success for CWC – and rightly so. From my attendance of the meeting of the National Committee on Dam Safety, I suspect that some of the challenges ahead may come from the fact that India is a federation of states. This is, at least, a situation I was confronted with as Commissioner for dam safety here in Switzerland when it came to taking the smaller dams under the federal dam safety legislation. Overcoming this difficulty was less a technical issue than a communication one.
I would be pleased to assist CWC in matters of dam safety in the future should you have any interest. Also, let me know if you come to Switzerland; I would be pleased to see you again at this occasion."

"Attached you will find a letter from me regarding my experience at last weeks conference in India. I really appreciate the opportunity to attend and continue to assist the DRIP program in any way I can. "

"This was an excellent international dam safety conference in India. The dam safety work in India as part of the DRIP program is truly a world-class venture led by the Indian Government and supported by the World Bank. Congratulations to all!"

"Wonderful opportunity to meet with experts from 30 different countries. Once again egis and its dedicated staff showed their capacities to accompany CWC in this great event. We can be proud of what we accomplished in the last five years on DRIP Project for the sake of the Dams in India."
