Registering on DHARMA requires you to choose one of the following User Types. Each one grants different permissions to the software application :
- Dams Data Managers (DDM) are responsible for entering and updating Static Data of a dam, i.e. data that is generated once in the life of the project and rarely changes, such as Dam length, Spillway capacity... They are able to make changes to the first three modules of DHARMA (Project Features, Project Portfolio, Engineering Features) and can only view the rest.
- Dam Health Engineers (DHE) are responsible for entering Dynamic Data of a dam, i.e. data that changes over a period of time or season and requires regular update, such as periodical inspection reports or rehabilitation works. They are able to make changes to the last four modules of DHARMA (Asset Health, Asset Rehabilitation, Stakeholders and Document Library) and can only view the rest.
Please note that :
- It is possible to be both the Dam Data Manager and the Dam Health Engineer of a dam. However, separate login IDs (e-mail address and password information) are required for each User Type.
- It is possible to have permissions for entering the data of several dams of a same agency with the same login ID.
